Ranking the Top 100 Affordable Non-Profit Schools With High Long-Term ROIs.
To develop this ranking, our editors began with an initial pool of the 265 four-year non-profit schools with 40-year ROIs of $1 million or more. We then narrowed this large pool by applying a tuition filter, eliminating schools with a net price of over $25,000 per year. Finally, we applied the rating and ranking methodology above, using data collected from College Navigator, U.S. News & World Report, and each school’s website. In the case of a tie, we awarded the higher ranking to the more affordable school.
