Eligibility

-Majoring in a subject related to the field of transportation, travel, and tourism (e.g. accounting, hospitality management, etc.)
-Willing to maintain a minimum of 3.4-grade point average (GPA)
The American Bus Association (ABA) provides an Academic Merit Scholarship to two individuals each year. Recipients of this scholarship must be interested in beginning a career in the transportation, travel, and tourism industry. To apply for this scholarship, applicants will be required to write a short essay on how their chosen major relates to a career in the transportation, travel, and tourism field. Both recipients will receive a scholarship award of $5,000 each toward their college tuition.
2. Barnes W. Rose Jr. and Eva Rose Nickol Scholarship Program
Eligibility
-Attending Albuquerque High School
-Possess a minimum GPA of 3.6
-Have proof of financial need
-Planning to enroll in a college or university to study a STEM-related subject
Since 2003, the Barnes W. Rose Jr. and Eva Rose Nickol Scholarship has been sponsored by the Albuquerque Community Foundation in remembrance of Barnes Rose Jr. and Eva Nickol. Every year this scholarship is given to one senior of Albuquerque High School who is planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related subject. The recipient will be awarded $800 toward their college tuition.
3. Trythall Family Scholarship for Excellence in Continuing Education
Eligibility
-Reside or work in one of the following counties: Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia, Torrance, or Santa Fe
-25 years of age or older
-Currently working at least 20 hours a week while attending school
-Possess a minimum GPA of 2.8
-Earning an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, healthcare, education, science, engineering, mathematics, finance, or computer science and have completed 12 credit hours in the selected major
In 1989, the Trythall Family Scholarship for Excellence in Continuing Education was established and is now offered by the Albuquerque Community Foundation. This scholarship is for individuals who are older, non-traditional college students working toward an educational goal, and need financial assistance. To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must write a letter to the committee stating their goals, why they chose their selected major and the achievements that they are most proud of. The selected winner will receive $3,000 toward their college tuition.
4. African American Network – Carolinas Scholarship Fund
Eligibility
-African American college students in North Carolina and South Carolina
-Majoring in accounting, engineering, math, science, computer science, finance, or business administration
The African American Network – Carolinas Scholarship Fund was launched in 1996 by advocates for African Americans, which is a Duke Energy employee resource group located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage diversity in the workplace. This scholarship is offered to North and South Carolina college students earning degrees in accounting, engineering, science, math, computer science, business administration, and finance. Two colleges and one community service organization are chosen annually to receive scholarships to hand out to individuals using the criteria of the African American Network – Carolinas Scholarship.
5. AICPA Foundation Two-year Transfer Scholarship Award
Eligibility
-Transferring from a two-year college to a four-year college
-Studying accounting or an accounting-related subject
The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) established the AICPA Foundation Two-year Transfer Scholarship Award in 2013. The goal of this scholarship is to offer financial assistance to college students transferring from a two-year college to a four-year college to complete their studies in accounting. Around 25 individuals are typically awarded this scholarship each year, and the amount awarded is $5,000 per individual. The selection process is based on academic accomplishments, leadership skills, and career goals in the accounting field.
6. AICPA John L. Carey Scholarship

Annually, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) offers a scholarship named the ACFE Academic Scholarship. One winner is chosen each year and will receive $2,000 toward their college tuition. 9. CGCS – Bernard Harris Scholarship Program

The Council of the Great City Schools (CGCS) is offering the CGCS – Bernard Harris Scholarship Program for minority students who are interested in earning a degree in a STEM-related subject. This scholarship was created by a former NASA astronaut, Dr. Bernard Harris, who was the first African American astronaut to walk in space. Each awardee is selected based on their academic achievements, leadership skills, and community service experience. They will receive $5,000 each toward their college tuition.
10. CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois Scholarships
Eligibility

-Reside in Illinois
The CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois was formed in 1998 to award scholarships to future CPA’s throughout the state of Illinois. Each year, this organization provides about $215,000 to around 200 students interested in becoming CPA professionals. 11. CBIZ Accounting Scholarship

The CBIZ Accounting Scholarship was created by CBIZ MHM, LLC to financially assist full-time college students with pursuing their degree in accounting. It is now offered by the California State University – Bakersfield to individuals who are specializing in accounting and planning to begin a career in public accounting. Only undergraduate students with at least a 3.2 GPA will be considered.
12. Diversity STEM Scholarship
Eligibility
-Interested in pursuing a career in the transportation field (e.g. accounting, aviation, architecture, business administration, engineering, finance, or human resources)

Massport’s Office of Diversity & Inclusion/Compliance is providing the Diversity STEM Scholarship to promote diversity among students interested in pursuing careers in the transportation field. Every year, several high school seniors are selected to receive this scholarship. The award amount is $6,000 and will be sent directly to the student’s chosen college. Only students who reside in the following cities in Massachusetts will be considered: Boston, Chelsea, Revere, Winthrop, Worcester, Bedford, Lincoln, Concord, or Lexington.
13. Edward C. Bryant Scholarship
Eligibility
-Graduate students with experience or education in survey statistics
The American Statistical Association (ASA) is offering the Edward C. Bryant Scholarship in honor of Edward Bryant, the cofounder and chair of Westat. One winner is chosen each year and will receive a cash award of $2,500. The selection process is based on the individual’s experience in survey statistics, performance in graduate school, and plans and ability to contribute to the field of survey statistics.
14. EFWA Scholarships

The EFWA Scholarships are funded by the Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting. These scholarships are awarded to women who are pursuing a degree in accounting. 15. Honors Program in Finance Scholarship

The Honors Program in Finance Scholarship was implemented by New Jersey City University to provide students with a rewarding experience. This scholarship is for outstanding students who have talent, motivation, and curiosity. Since 1950, the Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation has been awarding scholarships to college students from Hawaii, who are interested in future career paths in business. In 1999, the Oklahoma Legislature implemented the George and Donna Nigh Public Service Scholarship to award exceptional students planning to pursue careers in the public service industry. 23. NESA STEM Scholarship

The National Eagle Scout Association is featuring the NESA STEM Scholarship, which is awarded to one Eagle Scout each year. The goal of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to an individual who is planning to pursue a degree in a STEM-related subject. 24. NJCPA Four-Year Scholarship

The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) awards the Four-Year Scholarship to New Jersey high school seniors planning to enter college in the fall. 25. NSA Scholarship Fund Scholarship Program

Samsung has developed the Samsung@First Scholars Program to help support the Silicon Valley’s commitment of being the hub for technology. By providing this scholarship to college students each year, it is financially assisting the future innovators of the valley. The Edison Scholars Program is awarding 30 high school seniors with $40,000 scholarships.
